Acute bacterial prostatitis is characterized by severe symptoms with voiding difficulties and persistent prostatitis treatment how long poorly localised pain at various locations including the perineum, scrotum, penis and inner part of the leg.
The diagnosis is based on anamnesis, clinical examination, bacteriological findings Meares-Stamey test and PSA mostly in men with acute bacterial prostatitis and less in chronic prostatitis.
